pixel-art
a sodden swamp, awash in the aftermath of a torrential downpour. Rivulets snake through the saturated undergrowth, gurgling cheerfully as they carry debris downstream. Droplets cling tenaciously to waxy leaves, refracting the dull light filtering through the tangled canopy above.
Into this soggy panorama steps a diminutive reptilian tyke, clad in a brightly colored slicker that strains comically at the buttons. Yellow polka dots clash violently with neon stripes, forming a psychedelic pattern that seems to vibrate independently of the wearer's movements. Strapped securely to its back is a pint-sized knapsack, stuffed to bursting with notebooks and crayons.
Head held high, nostrils flared defiantly against the pervasive scent of mud and rotting vegetation, the intrepid infant crocodile marches resolutely onwards. Waterlogged boots splash through shallow puddles, sending mini geysers spraying in all directions. Not once does the stalwart little soul falter, undeterred by the obstacles placed in its path.
For this braveheart is embarking on a monumental undertaking - its very first day of schooling!
