A dark, mythic and menacing scene. A gigantic serpent coils tightly around a dead, towering tree on a barren plain, its scales shaped like overlapping black leaves and thorned petals, with a glowing red underside and long pale fangs showing in an open mouth. The head hangs low toward the viewer, with narrow, glowing eyes, while the thick body wraps around the trunk and branches in heavy spirals. Tiny white flowers grow along its back and dark vines trail from the tree into the soil. At the base of the tree, a tiny, lone knight in rusted armor stands with a raised sword, dwarfed by the creature. The sky is a stormy mix of black and grey clouds with a bright, narrow strip of crimson light behind the tree. The palette is black, deep green, bone white and crimson, with dense texture and a dramatic, epic atmosphere.
