A risograph print of a lone traveler crossing an endless white salt flat at noon, where every shadow falls toward the sun instead of away from it. Her own long shadow stretches ahead of her and rises off the ground at the far end like a dark doorway standing upright, the only vertical shape in the whole landscape. She walks with a folded chair under one arm, tiny against the vast empty ground and sky. Vertical 2:3 composition, the horizon set very low, huge negative space above her. The print uses only fluorescent orange, deep ultramarine and raw cream paper, with slight misregistration between the color layers, coarse halftone dots in the sky, grainy ink texture and flat graphic shapes. Hard midday light, silent and dreamlike mood, no gradients, no extra colors, no text. Her footprints behind her end at the doorway of shadow, and the doorway has footprints leading out of it.
