Prompt

, A steam train idles at a small, snow-white station platform, its whistle sounding — captured in the instant just before departure, thin steam curling upward and catching early light. The dominant concept is a threshold moment: one boot already lifted onto the train's step, one hand still gripping the platform's edge, the traveler caught exactly between staying and going. A worn canvas bag hangs from their shoulder, unzipped just enough to reveal a small puppy's nose and one dark eye peeking out, ears pressed low, utterly silent and still. Beyond the platform, a mountain range rises pale blue-grey in the distance, its lower slopes wrapped in morning mist, framing the station in vast, quiet scale against the traveler's small, determined figure. The platform itself is nearly empty — a single lantern post, a weathered bench, painted white boards worn soft at the edges — everything rendered plain and unremarkable except the traveler and the train, which hold all the frame's warmth. Light falls low and golden from one side, catching steam, brass fittings, and the puppy's eye in warm highlight while the mountains stay cool and distant behind. Render as delicate, nostalgic gouache and watercolor illustration — soft bleeding edges in the mist and steam, slightly firmer linework on the traveler and dog — palette of muted station white, warm brass and amber, against cool mountain blue-grey. Far down the platform, barely visible, a second lantern still burns though no one stands beside it.
